Grandstream HT801/HT802 adapter

Preparation

To configure your Grandstream HT801/HT802 ATA, you must first access the web interface:

1. Connect the ATA to your network and power it on.
2. Find the device IP address:
   1. Pick up the connected analog phone
   2. Dial *** (three stars)
   3. Dial 02 to hear the IP address
3. Open a web browser on a computer connected to the same network.
4. Enter the IP address in the address bar (e.g. http://192.168.1.100).
5. Log in using:
   • Username: admin
   • Password: admin

The computer must be on the same local network as the device to access it.

Setup

Enter/select the following under the mentioned menu items. 

Port Settings → FXS PORT → General Settings

• Primary SIP Server: voice.redspot.dk
• SIP User ID: Your phone number
• SIP User ID: Your phone number
• SIP Authentication Password: Your password (from the welcome email)
• Name: Your name (must not contain numbers as well as æøå etc.)
• DNS Mode: NAPTR/SRV

Port Settings → FXS PORT → SIP Settings

• Register Expiration: If you have a fixed IP address enter 60. If not or if in doubt then enter 5
• Local SIP Port: 5070

Port Settings → FXS PORT → Analog Signal Line Configuration

• SLIC Setting: EUROPEAN CTR21
• Caller ID Scheme: DTMF Denmark prior to ringing with LR

Click the Save and apply button. 

Verify Registration

1. Go to Status → Port Status
2. Check that the line shows Registered

If it shows “Not Registered”, double-check your SIP credentials.
